Place Mat-Round

Palm leaves are braided in a unique way and shaped for different uses at the hands of Egyptian women of the South.  This time they shaped the braids into a a circle to be used as a "Sous Plat" or a placemat to be used with single plates, to decorate your table top and protect your table cloth.

This particular place mat is rounded and decorated with a fringe from dried palm leaves to give you the look of a brigh sun.  This can be tailor made into any color so that you continue to be unique.
